Our client is a major defence contractor based in Bristol who is looking for a Lifex Design Engineer on a one year fixed term contract.

You will require the following Skills & Experience:-

• Degree qualified or extensive experience in a Design or Engineering environment.
• Preferably a member of a relevant professional body.
• Understand Systems and System drawings.
• Ability to identify weaknesses in Systems.
• Ability to recommend improvements to Systems.
• Experience in Naval/Submarine environment.
• Experience of MoD procedures.

Your Roles & Responsibilities will include:-

• Review system drawings.
• Produce through life documentation.
• Make proposals for obsolescence issues.
• Explore options for new equipment/replacement.
