Rate of pay: £13.68 (for under 21s) to £14.24 (for ages 21+) per hour. Rates are inclusive of holiday pay.
Are you a hands-on problem solver with a passion for maintaining equipment to the highest standards?
We're looking for a Casual Buggy Maintenance Technician to support the Golf At Goodwood team, helping to keep our fleet of golf buggies and operational equipment safe, reliable and ready for use.
This is a practical role where no two days are the same. You'll be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing our buggy fleet, whilst working closely with suppliers and the wider Golf Operations team to ensure a seamless experience for our members and guests.
What you'll be doing
- Carrying out routine servicing, maintenance and repairs on golf buggies and operational equipment.
- Diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical and operational faults.
- Conducting regular inspections and identifying maintenance requirements.
- Liaising with suppliers and manufacturers regarding repairs, parts and technical support.
- Maintaining accurate maintenance records and service schedules.
- Managing stock levels of spare parts, tools and consumables.
- Supporting the wider Golf Operations team by responding to equipment-related issues.
- Ensuring all work is completed in line with health and safety requirements.
- Assisting with the upkeep and presentation of fleet vehicles and equipment.
- Identifying opportunities to improve fleet reliability and maintenance processes.
What you'll bring
- Prior experience in mechanical maintenance and repair, ideally involving golf buggies, utility vehicles or similar equipment.
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- A good understanding of mechanical systems.
- Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Experience working with suppliers, contractors or service providers.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- A full UK driving licence.
