As our QC Technician, you’ll play a vital role in upholding the quality, safety, and compliance of our raw materials and finished products. Your precision, organisation, and passion for doing things right will help ensure our high standards never slip.

You’ll be proactive, reliable, and confident in a laboratory setting – someone who thrives on detail and takes pride in ensuring everything meets the mark. From raw material sampling to equipment calibration, you’ll be instrumental in protecting the integrity of our products and processes.

You’ll be testing and releasing raw materials and bulk products, maintaining lab records, managing retained samples, and liaising with manufacturing to provide real-time support. You’ll also help prepare certificates of conformity and play a key role in ensuring our work complies with quality systems and industry regulations.

As part of the Quality team, you’ll also help ensure compliance with all externally audited systems including ISO 22716, MHRA, FDA, GMP, and HACCP. Your support in maintaining and improving these standards will be critical to our continued success and certification.

What you’ll have:

    • Excellent organisational and analytical skills.

    • Clear communication and fluency in written/spoken English.

    • Confidence to work independently while being a strong team player.

    • Ability to plan and manage your time effectively.

    • An understanding of, and empathy with, Neal’s Yard Remedies’ values.

    • A valid UK work permit allowing full-time work.

    Bonus if you also have:

    • Experience working in cosmetic, pharmaceutical, or food/drink FMCG industries.

    • Familiarity with NetSuite ERP or similar systems.

The Details:

  • Full-time role: 37.5 hours/week, Monday to Friday.
  • Based at our beautiful eco-factory, in Gillingham, Dorset. 
  • 07:00-15:00 work pattern
