Our client is an established Marine engineering company who are looking for a Radiological Safety Engineer on a permanent basis. They are a supplier of maintenance and support to the Naval and defence industries. Applicants are invited to apply through FPR Tech and interviews will be carried out shortly.

You will require the following skills and experience:-

• To provide specialist knowledge, support and advice as necessary, to enable Plant/Project managers in compliance with statutory legislation and requirements as defined in the Licence/Authorisation conditions relevant to nuclear related activities carried out.

• To prepare appropriate safety documentation, as required, relevant to specific plant, processes or modifications, in accordance with agreed standards as determined by relevant legislation, associated compliance documents and company guidance.

• To be able to construct/check Quantified risk assessments including both deterministic and probalistic methodologies, utilising the techniques of: o Consequence Assessment o Fault and Event Tree analysis o Reliability Analysis o Hazard Identification Studies This is an excellent opportunity to work for a well established company and an ideal platform to progress your career.
