We are looking for a new team member to maintain and decorate all University buildings to the highest possible standard and provide a functionally effective environment. This position will work with other staff with technical disciplines. The painters will contribute to projects both working alone or part of a larger painting / maintenance project team(s).

Undertake work of the appropriate trade to an agreed level, in compliance with industry standards, statutory requirements, relevant codes of practice and environmental and sustainable guidelines in a professional and customer focused manner taking a creative approach to change which challenges assumptions and is not based purely on enhancing existing practice. The University Estate Management operates a "don''t walk by" system to enable issues to be dealt with quickly and effectively assisting other trades staff, as required, in the performance of their duties. Some occasional work outside normal office hours may be required.
