The media and communications team is looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious individual with the skills to promote the excellent work being done at Portsmouth in this exciting, innovative and increasingly competitive higher education sector.

You will be part of a busy and dedicated media and communications team that provides a complete in-house service to deliver compelling content and strategy across all media channels in support of the university’s strategic objectives.

You will be able to think quickly on your feet and take the initiative to turn ideas into content across many channels.

You will be skilled in writing engaging and accessible media content, develop strong relationships with journalists and academics and promote and enhance the profile and reputation of the university to a variety of audiences. 

You will be familiar and comfortable producing content for digital and social media, including video, as an essential part of the job.
