Are you an experienced Electro/Mechanical Maintenance Engineer looking for a new challenge within a prestigious Manufacturer? Then keep reading!

We are looking for an Electro/Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to work the Nights Position due to continued expansion to work at a prestigious manufacturer near to Salisbury, Wiltshire.

The role

As an addition to the Maintenance Engineering Department you'll be part of a busy maintenance engineering team, you will be extensively involved in proactive and reactive maintenance tasks on site. As a multi skilled maintenance engineer you'll cover Electrical, Mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, PLC fault finding and basic plant maintenance requirements. Planned maintenance, breakdowns, part procurement identification, getting involved with project work and recommending improvements with regards to the equipment and building will also be expected.

What do I need?

17th Edition certified is a must have. Ideally you will be more electrically biased than mechanical and perhaps be an electrical time served apprentice. You'll be able to read electrical drawings yet in terms of mechanical engineering you'll be experienced with pneumatics and hydraulics as well. They have PLC's running so any experience with them will be great, particularly with Siemens.

The role pays a basic of circa £34'000 with additional shift uplift taking the salary package up to a maximum of £45'000. You will be working Monday to Thursday 21.30 to 08.00 – your working week will be 42 hours. Please note that they have an annualised hour's scheme and there is a requirement to work a Sunday night shift when requested - a minimum of 2 weeks' notice of Sunday working will be given. They can offer you 25 days of leave, 4% pension, flexi time and a share save scheme where you can pick relevant benefits, i.e cycle to work, dental plan etc.
