We require a Phlebotomist to work as part of our team within the hospital. The post will involve working from 0800 to 1200 on four weekday mornings (to be discussed/determined at interview). Applicants must have good basic numeracy and literacy skills and knowledge of Health and Safety Issues. You will possess excellent communication skills; be able to deal with patients and staff with tact and diplomacy and be able to work under pressure.You will be part of a team providing a valuable support function for the entire hospital collecting blood samples from both inpatients and outpatients.The successful applicant will also take part in rostered Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holiday morning duties.
