We are now seeking to appoint permanent Cleaners to join our Cleaning Services Team. The hours are flexible ranging from 10 to 29 hours per week. You will assist with the day to day delivery of cleaning services to the highest possible standard, providing a customer focused, flexible, proactive, safe, compliant and secure environment for students, staff and visitors. During the Summer conference season, the Cleaning Services Team is integral to the functioning of the site as a large accommodation / conference facility and there is a collective responsibility to ensure all rooms are presented in the best possible manner.

You will provide an efficient and effective service, to ensure that our estate buildings including classrooms, halls of residence and communal areas at both our Chichester and Bognor Regis sites are left in a clean and safe state. We are looking for motivated, customer focused, and helpful individuals who are able to maintain consistently excellent standards of work whilst working alone or as part of a team. Flexibility is essential to cover a variety of working environments and different operational requirements including extra hours to cover staff sickness and increased periods of activity i.e. the Summer Conference Season. All staff are required to wear a uniform and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) during their working shifts and undertake regular training, including Health and Safety.

This position will require a Disclosure and Barring Check (DBS) which will be undertaken by the University on appointment.
